Heavy Rain, Metal Gear, and the like for example. While I do see this being a pretty interesting and relevant branch of interactive entertainment, I don't think it's so much the evolution of games as a medium so much as developers finally having the power to realize it in a way that's more theatrical. For example, if Chrono Trigger had been made now, it'd probably be very movie-like. As it is, it is still story heavy- but the amount of reading (among other things) keeps it from feeling like a long cutscene."}
