Gotta have thick skin, though. Unless you're lucky, the first few gigs are always the hardest to get. It's a rough ride, but if you're serious about it, you'll make it happen. Don't even have to be good, being good's just a bonus. There's all sorts of bad audio engineers, photographers, and cinematographers out there who are making a living at it. If you're better than them and not getting any gigs, don't stop, keep pushin'. Like I said, tough industry, thick skin, keep movin' and you'll get somewhere."}
