There is the Showa era, which went from 1954-75, and it's honestly my least favorite. I would recommend Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs Hedorah, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, and Terror of Mechagodzilla. You COULD watch Godzilla vs Gigan if you want a good laugh. Next off is the Heisei series, which went form 84-95. Honestly, I never saw Godzilla 1984 but I absolutely love every entry in the Heisei series and I would recommend all of them. Especially Godzilla vs Destroyah. That movie still makes me cry a little bit to this day. Then there's the Millennium series, which is also great. Godzilla 200 was okay, Orga was a really cool monster but the movie's not too special. GMK was AMAZING and is my third favorite G-film. Against Mechagodzilla is great too but Tokyo SOS is my favorite Godzilla film honestly. Final Wars is a blast to see because of all the monster action. (And Kung-fu!)"}
