Those are merely my intentions and the inspiration behind the work. I'm not an experienced painter or anything, though I know of many academic works which define art as not just a byproduct but a process and behaviour as well, so perhaps the mere act of painting is more contextually important than the painting itself in this scenario. I could go on about primary colours and how those relate to denotative instincts but in all honesty the colour choice was because they were just old paints I found in the basement earlier today. The piece itself wasn't planned, the improvisational nature of it was necessary so as it to prevent it from feeling contrived."}
