Plus consuming and discussing media you aren't fond of in a healthy manner can help put what you are fond of into a better frame of reference, right?<br \/><br \/>But you're right, re-listening to and reviewing works that I didn't explicitly love for the sake of giving them a less than sheer excellent score is pretty silly. I guess I just don't my writing to go into a slump, you know? I definitely prefer praising the media I love <i>a lot<\/i> more than criticizing the media I don't, and pretty much any review I have written so far has been for an album I <i>want<\/i> to discuss in some capacity, but I suppose I'd still like to give my writing variety to improve it. Or at the very least I don't want to get too repetitive with my material, the odd time in a blue moon I do put a write up out anyway."}
