Look into playing a non-human race. In the Eberron setting there are changelings and they have mostly only one syllable names. You could make the name "Yum". Elven names are more likely to be ridiculous with unusual syllable combinations and different pronounciations. You can use a real word and pronounce it slightly different like for example "alien". You can pronounce it ali-een. Slap a apostroph in between, double some vowels and it's getting unnoticed and you can say that it wasn't your intention to use that word. Also you can use by-names to make the name over the top."}
