The second cliffhanger featured the Doctor as a ghost.  This week's cliffhanger ends with the death of Kate Stewart, Jac and the UNIT troop. So far the resolutions have been about it <i>looking<\/i> like they died, but they teleported away\/were actually a hologram\/will probably be saved by selective film editing.
