I can't believe I've spent more than a quarter of my life here. <br \/><br \/>I don't know what to say that isn't awfully clich\u00e9\u2014you people really <i>are<\/i> like family to me. I'm only the person I am today because as a 13-year-old smartass I joined this website and I had to <i>learn<\/i> things. About life, about people, about myself. Everyone who's come and gone and stayed has shaped me in some big or small way. I feel like I'm a better person every day I come here, truly. I'm smarter, funnier, <i>happier<\/i>.<br \/><br \/>A lot about RDN has changed in my 5 years. There are people I miss, people I don't. Admittedly I don't think I would have felt the same warmth that I did in 2011 if I'd joined today. I feel lucky in that sense; not everyone can just stumble into a place like this and feel like it's where they should be. But I was lucky, and I still am.<br \/><br \/>Thank you, RDN, for all of it.
