It turned out the plug to the hub dynamo came loose. I wouldn't mind changing the front light that is brighter but I'm not throwing away a good component. I use the light during the day to increase my visibility. A brighter light would probably be overkill as the current one is plenty bright. The only feature I'd like to have is a "parking light" feature for the front light, so the front light emits (half as bright) light while standing at the traffic lights."}
