I think it'd look great! I had my hair the same length as yours for many years and later decided to start growing it a bit........... I cant even look at pictures of me before i grew it without cringing..... Its not a thing with commitment of course, you can always cut it any time.... and at the very least you'll save at least a tenner by cutting out at least 2 haircuts... :)
