The threat is there and the character is just trying to survive. He tries to search for food, rips his clothing by accident. At one point he finds a flare gun, shoots it in the air so all of the zombies in the area will go to it while he relocates. At night he has to still be on guard. He'll hear moans off in the distance not knowing if it was directed towards him or not. It's not until he gets cornered at the end by a single zombie and has to fire a shot, knowing that every other one in the area will flock to him. Also, my M1 is configured to shoot blank rounds too so I'm going to actually discharge a blank on set for ultimate realism!</html>
