It is partially because I can't take care of myself well, and partially because I feel so great due to how much I can trust her. I've been through some abuse through the years by different people, and the fact that I can do stuff like sharing a bed without having to fear anything happening to me (yes, I'm a guy that doesn't want that sexual stuff) and just lying on her lap, making myself small or being chained feels so great... I call her my owner because I behave more like a pet around her, but it's still an actual relationship that has been going on for 2 years, 3 months and 5 days now.
