Even the latest version of Microsoft Office doesn't properly support these standards, being the only one in the most-used office suites not supporting these. Because Microsoft Office is the most used office suite, we're being forced to adapt to their standards (of which they don't share the specifications), so other office suites (which do support the official standards) cannot work as well as Microsoft Office does, which is, at very least, anti-competitive, but also prevents improved development of the Open Standards. Because of that, even in the year 2012, we still cannot properly share office documents throughout different operating systems and office suites.</html>
