Actually, depending upon what sort of work you have to catch up on, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes, that's how I deal with things I'm not quite ready to emotionally deal with yet: focus on what tasks need to be done, and get them done. Keeps your mind off of other things, or at least breaks those thoughts up a bit. Not saying that it'll make everything all easy to bear, and there won't be moments that you might want to curl up into a sobbing mess -- thus why I say, &amp;quot;Be patient with yourself,&amp;quot; -- but maybe it'll make things easier?  I dunno. I probably sound like I think it's something as easy as, &amp;quot;Just do this and you'll be all better!&amp;quot; I don't. I know that I can't fix it for you. It's a tough thing you're going through. There is no easy fix. All I can tell you is what sometimes helps me. But we are here to listen, and try to understand.
