I would guess that groups that work well together at more than 4 players are less common, though, so I guess I can understand them not wanting to balance it for larger groups - given the dungeons are based on a mix of (fairly simple; think Zelda if you've played them) puzzles and battles, it would take more drastic changes to make it still exciting for large groups.</html>
