I work at a boarding school for developmentally challenged teen boys. Sometimes the boys don't know how to cope with the demands that are put on them by the program and they get extremely anxious or agitated, etc. The system is 98% verbal and tried to calm them down, but the training focuses 50% on physical restrainst because in the heat of the moment it's important to be confident when you've got to stop somepony from attaking you or others or harming themselves.
