If we die, our brains cease to work and our bodies get eaten by animals (in most cases just worms) or feed plants in the form of ash. Your believe that you are divided fro the rest of the world is just a culturally shaped believe. If you are dead, you will be no more, but nothing of what was you will be gone from this universe.
