Who I thought was an enemy returned from the dead was REALLY the woman's godfather whom I've been searching for in my travels. With his last breath he reveals to me the deception of the wizard's curse on him and then possibly under his breath gave me kudos for actually using my sword-n-shield style in a boos fight. I mean, Sword-n-shield is sub-optimal at best in a boss fight, but I made it work with having mastered almost every move in its repertoire
