Kind of like when an irl-bully bullies a kid in front of classmates or peers, sometimes the attention and reactions from the crowd can be worse than the bully's act itself. So when a TWE guy posts a huge author-bashing &amp;quot;critique&amp;quot; on a fic's comment thread, then bored readers see a bad fic getting lots of page views and check it out, and thus the chiming in and other negative pileup ensues.</html>
