@pony Well, I do have a banking account with enough money on it to last a 5 month drought (meaning, with no income at all) before I go into the reds. And right now I am having six open, and three frequent 0-hour based contracts that give me a lot of income, The sad news is that I have no way to predict when they'll need me since it is on a "when we need you, we'll call you" basis. And this happens about 4 times per week. The median is that they need me for about 7 hours, so I guess technically I have about 36 hour workweeks. However there are weeks when I am needed over 80 hours in a week, and there are weeks where I am not needed at all... Soo... I would prefer a little bit stability, but money (right now) is not really a concern. However I am sure that this "get out of bed because a security firm is calling me at 03:00 in the middle of the night, only to go home at 09:00 and being called by the kitchen that someone fell sick and if I want to do their shift" is NOT good for my health
