Because your book worm example is what you're doing to Applejack if you're going that way. Applejack places importance in family to the point of being a part who she is, a fact she recognizes and grows from, and has a stubborn streak that helps her get through things or causes problems (like when she's in a disagreement, she'll stick to her point even if it means making a fool of herself or making the situation worse). She's also probably the most dependable friend of them since she doesn't have any incredible mental disorders like the others do.</html>
