The first was that someponies may only be unfriendly because they're work is stressful and requires them to be (Pardon my french,) a hardflank. This leads me to lesson two; no relationship is unsalvageable. Be it your boss or your brother (or in my case, both in the same day), a little act of kindness, anything from telling somepony you trust 'em to buying them a small dinner.
