What I really did was gut it and put the broken PS1 into it. The reason was simple: I already had the dead PS1 beforehand, but it was contained inside an absolutely &lt;i&gt;/pristine/&lt;/i&gt; case. The one that works perfectly looks like it was left in a toilet overnight. I swapped the main boards so the outside matched the inside. And now i have a pristine condition PlayStation sitting on my shelf beside a SNES.</html>
