We are capable of emotional logic, critical thinking, belief, conversation, etc... Technology is a moot point for this argument to me. Monkeys use sticks to get into anthills, that's a basic technology. Just because a dog can't use a computer doesn't mean it isn't human. Though, a dog at a computer would be hilarious.
