Well, I assume you've seen The Wizard of Oz. The song 'Over the Rainbow' talks about a place that's fantastic, that you can't get to by car, plane or train. You have to go /over the rainbow/. And to get to the pony land in G1 mlp, you went OVER THE RAINBOW. So, all we have to do is find a way to freeze the rainbow (When I was younger I did a project on 'em, no matter how far you walk you can never get to a rainbow so we must freeze one!) and fly over it! BOOM Equestria!
