Their actions are smooth, and the rifles have decent accuracy.  Shooting them isn't cheap, given the prices of .308/7.62X51mm and .30-06 ammunition, but I have started reloading ammunition to save a bit of money.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The M14 variant I own is the Springfield Armory M1A (a civilian legal variant lacking selective fire).</html>
