@starshine I never got to record my band, which was a bummer, 'cause I'm an engineer, and have the gear to have made that happen. Haven't recorded any of my arranges, either. That's a big reason why I want to learn violin, I've written a bunch of things for jazz violin I'd like to hear, but I moved, and don't know any violinists here. If I could record bass, record violin, and use Ivory for the piano, it'd sound great, and could do it all myself. If you haven't heard Ivory, give it a listen; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8R9Pk9P4yI If something is played by hand on a velocity sensitive keyboard and isn't quantized, I can't tell the difference between Ivory and an acoustic piano, and I'm a frickin' engineer. Ivory sounds amazing.
