Let's say the printer costs 1000€ then the cost for each item (your 300) would be 3€ (for funding the printer), without the material costs.  Let's say the material itself costs about 25€/kg and in average each printed item needs 50g then each item costs 4.25€. So for all 300 items you would need 15kg. So the total cost would be 1375€. It's just a thought experiment.</html>
