<html>I know it's easy to throw a term like &amp;quot;over-analysis&amp;quot; around when discussing television, film, literature, etc. but I think being critical of whatever you enjoy is a healthy way to both further appreciate a work as well as facilitate your understanding of it through discussion. I think saying &amp;quot;I like things that I think are good&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;I dislike things that I think are bad&amp;quot; sort of begs the question as to why we even like or dislike things in the first place. This isn't to say something can't simply be enjoyed on a superficial level, but more that awareness of your media is a great tool to have for your consumption of media.</html>
