Are you using the dedicated mic side or the guitar in/mic side? I have found that you can get a better sound with the dedicated mic port. The thing with distorted vocals is that they need to be compressed propperly so you won't peak the master volume. I am not as familiar with FL studio, but I just had a look online and it seems similar to Cubase (which I do know how to use). What kind of music are you recording? Warmth is desirable, but it can be overwhelming.</html>
