Broken Age was a really ambitious game and I believe when they realized how much money they had they decided to push the envelope even further than what they were capable of finishing within their time frame. I don't think they just took all the money and spent it indulgently, at least from what I can inference from interviews I've seen and from the fact that the final product was incredibly realized and tightly developed. Double Fine are an ambitious team, but still a small one.</html>
