After, moved to the midwest, which turned into a fiasco after a few years. Tried to move back to California, but it got way more expensive while I was away, and no one was willing to hire me because I was seen as an out-of-stater trying to steal Californian jobs. After more years of trying, I moved to Oregon instead. I have to say, I like it here better, though there are some things I do miss about California, In-N-Out burgers being one of them.
