Which is a very dangerous pitfall when taking on a yet established leadership position of anything. On the other hand those who have ruled for quite a while have their pattern of thinking too engrained in certain topics to be usefull/effective ( pretty sure we have a saying for that too ). In a good democracy it should be to the people to decide what course to sail.</html>
