Then, when they came home, and were shocked to see someone on their ceiling, I'd say 'What? What?!' in an accusatory tone, then I'd leave muttering about things about inhospitality. If they called the cops no one would believe them about a dude being on their ceiling when they came home. It's the perfect plan.
