Compared to what I've seen of Mastodon (which isn't a lot since we're oppressive) I still don't dislike them as much as I did the vocal majority of SLC when they, in the space of one conversation tree: told me my opinion was wrong, told me to stop acting like a child, and then told me to die, all because I said the new Ghostbusters movie wasn't terrible. I definitely associated SPC and such with that group at first, but even when I butted heads with some of you guys you were always leagues better than Sea Lion
