I actually thought it was incredibly stupid of Nintendo to not include a 2 joystick into the design. Also it will probably be a required piece of hardware for MGS 3D and the already announced that there is a new monster hunter game that will use the new joystick as well. Also this add on is made by Nintendo not some third party company and I doubt Nintendo is not going to push for it as hard as they can.
