If you were a guy into G3, you took so much apples because of it, and suddenly it's cool to be into My Little Pony? I can get where they're coming from. Older fans in general might have a big up their arse about it, seeing as the whole 'brony' thing has left them behind. Since G3 and earlier fans aren't 'bronies', I doubt they feel welcome in the 'brony' communities.
