I took care of it, checked the computer for completion, and it wasn't going through. On further inspection, it turns out he has a death date of three months ago!! . . . It's probably a clerical error at a different office (I confirmed it isn't on our end), but I'm kinda hoping I just had a phantom hitchhiker moment.
