This dude showed up four hours late, no call, with twelve pallets, did his shopping before coming to me, then had the audacity to get angry with me when I told him he’d have to wait half an hour for the night captain because he’d shown up so late that I didn’t have anyone to watch the desk (plus my hand is injured so I can’t pull pallets right now). Threatened to leave with my groceries. I called his bluff. He told me he’d call his boss and they’d tell him to leave and that I wouldn’t get my delivery. I told him to call them (this had happened once before so I already knew what the outcome would be). He called them and I watched him get angrier and angrier as his boss explained to him that he’d just have to wait. Smiled and told him the night captain would be here soon. He stormed out and poured in his truck the entire half hour.
