<html>All of the video game hardware for the next generation relies on ray tracing for cutting-edge graphics, meanwhile I actually removed raytracing from the equation for Swole Foods’ CGI. The lights were too realistic in all of my test renders and it was making the materials look really cherryty when I was using Cycles, so I moved everything over to EEVEE, a render engine which forgoes raytracing for a more simple (and faster) rasterization approach similar to what you see in video games. Makes visual prototyping fast and easy because I can work on things in real time, AND with the addition of ink-textured wireframes and watercolor-based material textures, makes a CGI still look like it was drawn onto a cel.</html>
