<html>Still torn on whether to re-write this pilot to tie it more in with the COVID-19 pandemic or if I should just ignore it altogether. It's a series about three working-class individuals in 2020s America (Northern Virginia/Washington DC specifically) and I feel like it's disingenuous to write about that while completely ignoring one of the biggest challenges we as a nation have faced in the modern age, doubly so since the setting is a grocery store. On the other hand, animating everyone wearing masks and standing six feet apart? Kinda lame (not to mention impractical with a 16:9 aspect ratio). And I don't want the show tied down by the necessarily activity-restricting nature of the pandemic.</html>
