I ended watching the second episode and my impression is that everything feels, for a lack of a better term, "disjointed". Disjointed from emotion, disjointed from establishing a relatable main character, disjointed from a clear plot. I heard a lot that The Sandman has a cult following and it is highly regarded. So far I cannot agree with that sentiment.
