I knew someone whose favorite movie of all time was this. I was quite sleepy when I started it but I don't think it is why I find the movie stupid. I liked many elements but the motivation of each character was unexplained or nonsensical. I dare to say it was banana on a technical story-telling level. It is a movie that lives on the vibes of dreams and dreamscapes but the non-dream story glue didn't held up in my opinion.
