A few weeks ago I was cleaning up some poop from behind my grill. Before that I had some poop on my lawn. Today I found the culprit: A hedgehog. Somehow there is a hole somewhere in the fencing and a hedgehog found its way in my garden. I encountered it when I was checking for rain to collect in buckets. While that I found the hedgehog standing absolutely still on my lawn. I grabbed a few sticks and pushed it gently out of my gate since I don't know where it could exit otherwise and I am certain that it wouldn't survive in my garden.
