Last year I used cut-up plastic packaging but they were literally garbage as they were too small, flimsy, and due to the clearness also very hard to read. I've cut blank white plastic credit card sized cards into 1'' x 5/8'' pieces. They are put into a simple 3D-printed frame where the cut pieces clip in and are easily replaceable.
