I chose it because it has pretty similar syntax compared to my native language. I can't speak a word of it now, but I can get the jist of normal conversation. Spanish I learned because I needed one more language class and the hot girls were there. Needless to say, I didn't learn much that year. And die to some wierd classes that got merged together, the only sentence I remember is &quot;quero comprar una pollo rojo&quot; which is probably horribly miss written and doesn't really make sense!
