  4. @rainbowdash1911 not as much fun as you think, its mostly redoing the same data inputs and commands until something breaks, interspersed with pointless meetings and inexplicable jargon. So like any office job, really :) @mithent 's experience sounds much more interesting o.o

  11. @mithent Well if not the content itself, the domain itself using "Rainbowdash" is supposedly trademarked, so I am open to attack. Either through the courts, or ICANN Arbitration.

  20. @mithent Natural beauty's great, isn't it? But, it's unfortunate I live in the middle of urban chavviness. Seriously, I can't walk a minute in school without hearing someone scream a swear across the halls. It really makes me sad. Wouldn't mind a more quite life, if I'm honest. As long as I could keep my family and friends... kind of a lesson I learned from playing MOTHER. But I prattle on about that too much.

  21. @mithent Yea, the in-context thing makes it far easier to follow a conversation.

  22. @mithent Not really.... One of the guys I work with has taken to checking ponychan for images he finds funny. Other than that... no. !techponies

  23. @mithent Oh yeah. We're a team of 6 people, and for the sake of people not from our dept. we label our seating areas with our name for easy identification. So, time and again someone will print up new "names" for us and assign them based on attributes. Previously it had been Marvel Comics Characters, Gender Swaps of our names, etc. So I did ponies. No one had seen the show on my team, and it lead to them having to watch/research to determine the background of their assigned pony. She had Pinkie Pie. She was... mad. She ended up watching the show and then changed her pony "name" to Nightmare Moon.... after that, she just fell into the fandom of it. If tl;dr: I played a prank involving ponies, got her to watch the show !techponies

  27. @mithent I have a scanned picture of where I put down "BRONYISM" for my religion for that, shame it's on my home PC.

  28. @mithent Probably not. It sounds fun enough and I love its setting and charity involvement, but I sense a brony/FiM-specific get-together would be less costly... The con seems to cover the whole spectrum of MLP generations. Not a bad thing at all, but my interest at the mo is pretty much FiM only XD

  29. @mithent I don't think I will. It's a bit far. Plus, I've never been to conventions for things I've liked for years and I've only been into Ponies for two months. Maybe we should organise our own sick brony hangouts like the Yanks are doing? !ukponies
