Celestia almighty, these's these teenagers on the bus, acting like complete TWATS on the top deck of the bus, shaking it about a little and generally coming off as if they have the intelligence of a bag of soggy potatoes. So glad they're on the top floor.
-
Now on a bus that's about to head straight home, so cold that my fingers are numb to the point that typing is something of a challenge. ^^; Still, had a great time at Games Workshop, putting my armies together, my new pal wasn't around as much tonight, but he had good reason.
-
In Games Workshop putting together my two starter armies from Warhammer 40k, a squad of space marines and orks, loving it. ^^
-
@yodelerty Hey, you can have it all if you like =P
-
@yodelerty Headed to Games Workship via bus to get the rest of my Warhammer 40k starter pack figures painted. ^^ It's snowing but doesn't look like it's going to settle in very thick.
-
@yodelerty Hey there :)
-
As for the weather...it was snowing quite a lot here earlier, to the point that I was sure it was going to pitch even, but thankfully rain came down and prevented this. ^^ As beautiful as it looks it brings the country to a bloody standstill.
-
Watched "The Muppets" with my friend earlier and loved it, I felt they kind of overdid it on the fourth wall breaking jokes towards the second half to the end of the film, but there were times when it was genuinley funny. I loved the new character "Walter" (I think that was his name) his brother and said brother's date weren't all that memorable though, if I'm honest. But it was really heart warming, even a bit sad at times, and all in all I'd say it was a great film. ^^ Their best since Muppet Christmas Carol IMO.
-
Friend and I are going to watch "The Muppets" in the cinema, should be a lot of fun if this film is as good as I've heard :) Also, getting lectured by said friend about starting into Warhammer, I kind of expected this. ^^;
-
Great, because my phone charger sucks I'm starting the day on just 60%, and my secondary back up battery is dead. Gonna have to really conserve battery life today. ><
-
I eventually got all of those bloody plastic pieces cut. Secured them inside of my case, will be taking them to the Games Workshop tomorrow to paint and put them together. Should be fun =)
-
Spent the last...well, however long it's been (I lose track of time) using my clippers to cut off the plastic figures/parts from my Warhammer 40k Starter Pack...tedious as all hell. There are 4 of these plastic frames' worth of parts, done 3 of them, on the last one now. Saves me having to do it when I go back to the Games Workshop tomorrow. http://ur1.ca/801yl

So, is this place fully up and functional now?
-
Hay everypony, if RDN does go offline again, there is a non PG-13 version that is fully functional. Look for Equestria Coffee House on google, but be warned, there is swearing allowed, so it's not meant for everypony.
-
@trister Sorry to hear that you couldn't get into it, but like you said having someone to talk to right from the get go does always help :)

I should probably post an update about my day, as quite a lot happened today. I went to my local ASDA on the way to Cribbs Causeway in the aim of buying blind bags, I found they'd restocked them...only to realize I'd forgotten to make a list of the ones I already have by the numbers on their bags. So I decided to skip the blind bags momentarily and continue to Cribbs Causeway, where I wanted to go to Games Workshop and learn more about Warhammer 40k. Turns out "learn about" would turn into "Buy the starter kit, black spray paint and model painting kits...plus a case." It was an investment for sure, but it's one I'm already getting enjoyment out of, I made a friend in that Games Workshop today, and had a ton of fun learning how to paint my figures and the like. I can see myself really getting into this, it makes a change to video games as a means of entertainment when I'm not watching FiM or on the internet. ^^
-
@pinhooves Oh yeah, I actually deleted my account for that on Mustard...I'd better rectify this =/
-
Okay, I'm back to using Mustard when I'm on my phone. The website takes too long to load when I'm not on a Wi-Fi connection. Ah well, it has a more mobile friendly interface anyway.
-
@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves Ah, I see :/
-
I've not been able to log onto/post to RDN for several hours, or even get onto it, both on my phone and here, what the hay is going on?
-
@purplephish20 The next proper game in the series is Tools of Destruction on the PS3, but the next game released was Deadlocked/Gladiator (it was called the latter here in the UK) but that's seen as something of a spin off since it has a lot less no platforming, no Clank in the gameplay and a metric crapton of combat when compared to other games in the series.
-
The ASDA is a bit too busy for me right now, it's open 24 hours so I'm going to continue my journey to Cribbs, visit The Games Workshop and then pop back when it's quieter later tonight. May even check some stores at Cribbs Causeway for blind bags whilst I'm at it.

@colfax True. Well, never hurt to try.
-
@serrio Alright, thanks for the clarification. ^^
-
@colfax Ah, the UK bags are different to the US ones though, will the numbering system still be the same?
-
Question regarding the blind bags, has anypony posted a list online that details which numbers = which ponies? So I can refer to the photo of my complete collection and check them off if I already have them.
-
@yodelerty Fair enough :P
-
@yodelerty I'm mainly selective because...well, I'm posting about my life on there, why else? (Sure I do the same on Twitter to an extent, but I mostly tweet about my interests rather than personal stuff)
-
@yodelerty I guess it's just me who's a tad selective with who I accept on my friends list then xD
