Reinstalling Fedora over itself... x-x This time I think I'll just make it NOT check for package updates on its own. Its ridiculous that doing so made important desktop things segfalt.

@scribus It's getting really frustrating. One set of package updates later something's usually broken, even if I /haven't/, say, set up non-free repositories or whathaveyou. It's ridiculous

So, lesson learned: Don't update a linux distro. I swear, every time I update a release-based distribution something always breaks. This time around Fedora has become unable to boot completely but I can't see why.
