Finished reading all three big Avatar: The Last Airbender story arc comics (The Promise, The Search, The Rift). It was a really good read. The artwork was very detailed and had a lot energy and expression. The stories were all good. The story in The Promise was a little jarring on how the plot developed but it was still entertaining. Three were a lot of little jokes spread over all stories (and some over-arching over the comics) that made me laugh (not loudly but in a inner glee manner). All the jokes were as good as they were in the animated show, sometimes goofy, sometimes with some heart, sometimes intelligent. Quite balanced. I really grinned when the cabbage appeared in The Rift. Over all I certainly recommend reading the comics.
